Information about the position

Professionals Nord is looking for mechanics on behalf of Jernbro. The assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at Jernbro for 6 months. The intention is that you will eventually be able to be directly employed by them, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration.

Job responsibilities
As a mechanic at Jernbro, you will work with service, maintenance, and repair of production equipment in an industrial environment. The role is practical and varied, where you are out in the business daily ensuring that machines and facilities function as they should. The work can take place both above and below ground and involves encountering various types of technical challenges where problem-solving and collaboration with colleagues are an important part of everyday life. You will work closely with production and contribute to preventing downtime and keeping the equipment in good condition. Since the tasks vary, you will have the opportunity to develop your technical breadth and work with many different types of mechanical work.

The job responsibilities include, among other things:

• Performing service and preventive maintenance on production equipment
• Repairing and troubleshooting mechanical components and machines
• Repairing and maintaining, for example, railings and other production equipment
• Working both above and below ground in an industrial environment
• Collaborating with colleagues and contributing to safe and efficient operations
• Identifying improvement needs and contributing to developing maintenance work

We are looking for a social and engaged mechanic with a genuine technical interest and a positive attitude towards work. You thrive in a practical role where you get to work closely with production and solve problems together with your colleagues. As a person, you are cooperative, unpretentious, and have an easy time communicating with people from different backgrounds. Since the workgroup consists of both Swedish and English-speaking colleagues, it is important that you feel comfortable using both languages in everyday life.

We also believe that you are someone who likes to take initiative, is curious to learn new things, and wants to develop over time. Experience from an industrial environment and previous experience as a mechanic is an advantage, but we value the right attitude, a technical interest, and the willingness to contribute to a positive atmosphere in the team above all.
